Steven Weaver

Steven Grant “Steve” Weaver, 61, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital after a short battle of bladder cancer.

Born August 7, 1958, in Sheridan, Wyo., he was the son of Virgil and Anna Mae (Dykes) Weaver. Coming to Thermopolis as a youngster, he graduated from Hot Springs County High School. Following graduation, he was employed by well servicing companies including McCumber Well Service for twenty years.

On November 17, 1979, Steve married Kimberly Sue Beyette in Thermopolis. He was easygoing, known for his quick wit. He enjoyed camping, guns, ATV riding, tinkering with cars and Derby cars.

He is survived by his mother, Anna Mae Arcoren of Buffalo; wife, Kimberly Sue Weaver of Thermopolis; son, Daynon of Lamar, Colo., twin sister, Suzy (Jim) Hulet of Buffalo; mother-in-law, Jeanne Beyette of Thermopolis; and an “adopted” brother, Aaron Shinost of Thermopolis.

Steve was preceded in death by his father; stepfather; grandparents; and family members.

A Celebration of Steve’s Life will be held Saturday, November 16, at 11 a.m. at the Community Church Hall in Thermopolis with Pastor Ross Kershaw officiating
