Workforce services Nov. 19

The Riverton Workforce Center, a local office of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, has scheduled a Thermopolis services day on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at Hot Springs County Library.

A representative will be available to help job seekers and employers at the library from 10 a.m. until noon, and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The representative can help people register on the Wyoming Dept. of Workforce Services website, wyomingatwork.com, navigate the site or update contact information and work history. Help can be given to create a resume and/or cover letter, or to retrieve a forgotten user name and/or password.

Information is also available, via the representative, about training opportunities and eligibility requirements for potential assistance in funding such training.

The site wyomingatwork.com can be used to view jobs posted in any Wyoming county, city, or statewide. It can also be used to set up a virtual recruiter or key word search for job titles.

Assistance in filing for Wyoming unemployment benefits or assistance with WY unemployment paperwork is also available. Employers can get employment questions answered or be directed to a source with answers to, and also post job listings for available positions in their business. There is no charge for any of the services.

The Riverton office of the Department of Workforce Services is also available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., by phone at 307-856-9231, or online at wyomingworkforce.org
