Joan Wittmann

Joan Wittmann, 85, passed away from natural causes on Oct. 9, 2019, while in hospice care at Grosse Pointe Manor in Niles, Ill.

Born in Chicago on Aug. 25, 1934, she was one of three children born to Frank and Antonia Kruzich. She had a 68-year career as a waitress. She enjoyed bowling and cooking.

She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Michael) Robertson of Thermopolis, Wyo., and Wendy (Michael) Master of Oak Forrest, Ill.; sister, Mickey Krupa of Oak Forrest, Ill.; 3 grandsons; and 2 great-grandsons.

Joan is preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Kay.

Cremation has taken place. Private memorial services are planned for a later date.
