Leaders emerge in adult volleyball

Two teams are claiming the top 6-0 undefeated spots in the Hot Springs County Recreation District’s Adult Co-Ed Volleyball League. Owl Creek won 25-5, 25-7 and 25-4 against Lord Have MRSA on Wednesday, Sept. 18. In the same evening, Gassed by Gottsche also won against the MRSA team, 25-8, 25-6 and 25-8.

September 18 also held victories for 2 Legit 2 Hit, going 23-25, 25-13 and 25-16 against Beavis and Bumphead, and How I Set Your Mother, winning 25-14, 25-20 and 25-18 against Kikyapunkas.

Games scheduled for Sept. 25 included How I Set You rMother against Gassed, Owl Creek against 2 Legit, MRSA against Kikyapunkas, and Beavis against Gassed.

Games are every Wednesday at the high school, at 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Playoffs will begin Oct. 30, with the championship Nov. 20.
