Bobcat golfers headed to state

The Bobcat golf team had another great outing last weekend with a trip across the state to compete in Glenrock and Lusk.

Coach Brandon Deromedi said Glenrock was a tough course, but the boys managed to place first by 37 strokes.

Lusk was a tough day for all Bobcat golfers, but Deromedi said they again managed to sneak away with the boys winning the tournament by seven strokes.

Hardy Johnson placed first in both tournaments.

This week the Cats head to Lusk again, this time for the State Tournament.

They will compete on Friday and Saturday for the boys state title and multiple top 10 individual finishes.

“The state team has worked hard to get to this point,” Deromedi said, “and I feel we are ready to put our game to the test against the rest of 2A.”
