Rush receives leadership award

Thermopolis-Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Meri Ann Rush was the recipient of the Wyoming Main Street 2019 Leadership Award.

The award was presented to her at the Wyoming Economic Development Association (WEDA) Working Together Conference in Gillette Sept. 4-6.

Rush said it’s a very humbling experience because there are plenty of others who also do a lot for Thermopolis. Of the conference, she said there is always a lot of good information to bring back. The fall conference is especially good, she said, as it brings together Main Street, Economic Development and Chamber people so there’s a better understanding of what everyone does.
