Hot Springs County 4-H members Taylor Agar, Rylee Agar, Hadley Johnson and Lexi Overfield competed in the State 4-H Livestock Judging Contest in the Intermediate Division, bringing home a ninth place finish among 21 teams.
The team judged 10 classes of livestock including cattle, sheep, swine and goats, giving oral reasons on two placing classes and questions on two placing classes.
Hadley Johnson was second overall in placings, second overall in oral reasons and was high individual overall in the intermediate contest. Owen McCumber was the only Hot Springs County participant in the 4-H individual Senior Division livestock judging and received an eleventh place in high individual placings out of 59 senior contestants.
