The Bobcat golf team did well at their first tournament last week after just three days of practice.
The boys team came in in eighth place, the only 2A school competing at the Park County Shootout, against a field of 3A and 4A teams.
Hardy Johnson led the team with a two-day total of 144, garnering him a tie for second place as an individual.
On the JV side, Seth Weyer carded a 224 for the two-day event. Jonah Needham played just the first day of the tourney and scored a 129.
Maddie Stam, who has been making great progress as the only female Bobcat on the team, carded a 215 for the tournament.
Other scores included a 180 from Jeffry Clark, 184 from Hadley Johnson, a 201 from Will Clark and a 230 from Kyle Roessing.
The team is in Worland today (Thursday) and tomorrow for the Worland Invitational.
