Patrick Robert Harvey

Patrick Robert Harvey, 55, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2019, at his home in Wasilla, Alaska.

Pat was born in Billings, Mont., and attended elementary school in Thermopolis, Lander and Jackson. In 1977 Pat and his family moved to Sheridan where he attended junior high and graduated from high school. Pat also attended Sheridan College.

He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. A perfect day for Pat was deep sea fishing with his wife Carrie on their boat. Pat enjoyed horseback riding adventures with is sister, Gayla, and brother-in-law, Mark, along with team roping with his Uncle Ken. He was a gifted artist and spent many hours at the fly-tying vice.

Pat worked as a project manager for the Alaska Department of Transportation for many years and was employed with them at the time of his death.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Carrie; parents, Don and Laurie Harvey; sister, Gayla (Mark) Ellis; grandmother, Olga Harvey; nephews, Chase and Tyler (Hope) Mead and Justin (Rachel) Ellis; great-nephew, Charlie Mead; great-niece, Rorie Ellis; birth mother, Linda Long; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his son, Jamie; grandfather, Robert "Bob" Harvey; grandparents, Kenneth "Kenny" and Gene Martin; and uncle, Duane Harvey.
