Grant received for H Diamond W

Ray Shaffer announced this week that the H Diamon W Camp was recently awarded a Daniels scholarship for around $200,000.

Shaffer is looking to promote more public use for the camp, and the money will go to renovating the camp. Plans include adding a restroom and new — not used — appliances. Shaffer said the electrical system would also need some reworking.

With the announcement coming just this week, concrete plans for the money have yet to be developed, but will be coming in the next few weeks.
