Fill the Boot campaign planned

The Thermopolis Volunteer Fire Department will once again be participating in the Fill the Boot campaign to help the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Monday, September 2.

Watch for the firemen at the stoplights at Broadway and Sixth Street as well as 14th and Fremont, looking for donations to fill their boots.

They will be there from 10 a.m. until some time mid-afternoon.

The department said this is a wonderful opportunity for them and the community to support a great organization. The Muscular Dystrophy Association does terrific work to assist those with one of many diseases lead full and fulfilling lives, all while working toward finding a cure.

All donations made that day will go directly to the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
