Final park concert set for Aug. 24

The Sounds of Summer concert series in Hot Springs State Park will wrap up on Saturday, Aug. 24 with a concert featuring Jimmy Keith and The Hateful 8.

Powered by acclaimed three-part Western harmonies, the group is fast becoming one of the most celebrated and awarded cowboy music groups in America. The group was the Wyoming Blues Challenge Winners for 2018, which took them to Memphis to compete in the International Blues Challenge.

Keith, from Buffalo, will be on lead guitar and vocals. Joining him will be Brad Tiffany of Sheridan on bass, Kevin Coleman of Story on drums and Walt Hill of Casper on keyboards.

The concert begins at the state park pavilion at 7 p.m. and is free to the public.

Beverages will be available, and people are welcome to bring their blankets and chairs. But don’t plan to just sit and listen to the music, as there’s plenty of open space for dancing.
