4-Hers compete at state shoot

4-H members from Hot Springs County traveled to Douglas the middle of July to participate in the State 4-H Shoot.

The group spent four days on the range shooting everything from .22 pistols to muzzleloaders and even archery.

Results are as follows:

Junior .22 pistol – Mac McCumber, 19th

Senior .22 pistol – Owen McCumber, 52nd

Junior .22 rifle – Mac McCumber, 7th

Senior .22 rifle – Carson Williams, 31st (light target)

Junior air pistol – Mac McCumber, 12th

Senior air pistol – Owen McCumber, 31st

Senior air rifle – Carson Williams, 39 th (light target)

Archery Class B Junior – Mac McCumber, 21st

Archery Class B Junior 3-D – Mac McCumber, 20th

Archery Class D Junior – Hayden Johnson, 30th; Annalyn Sharp, 67th
