It is the Thermopolis Independent Record’s policy that all people arrested or cited under the “Accidents,” “Sheriff’s office” or “Police department” in the On the Record section are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Friday, June 21
12:14 p.m. Trespass notice requested by a business.
8:19 p.m. Dispatcher reported receiving harassing calls.
8:56 p.m. Call to a controlled burn that was not reported.
Sunday, June 23
6:03 p.m. Traffic stop on Highway 120. The vehicle was stopped for speeding, though the driver was cited for open container and two counts of possession of marijuana.

Tuesday, June 18
4:36 p.m. Reporting party wanted a subject trespassed.
Wednesday, June 19
4:19 p.m. In responding to a noise complaint officers were able to locate a radio, but there was no violation due to the time of day.
Thursday, June 20
4:11 p.m. Reported citizen dispute. The involved subjects were separated for the evening.
Friday, June 21
9:38 a.m. A call that initially came in as a burglary report was later cancelled.
11:07 a.m. Scott D. Jackson was arrested for a probation violation.
1:17 p.m. Report of a lost moped. The vehicle was later found.
4:10 p.m. An officer assisted the Wyoming Highway Patrol with a possible hit and run accident.
7:15 p.m. A credit card was found and returned to its owner.
10:34 p.m. During a traffic stop, the driver was suspected of driving under the influence. The subject was placed through field sobriety maneuvers and determined to not be intoxicated.
Saturday, June 22
2:42 p.m. Report of an accident in which two vehicles backed into each other.
Sunday, June 23
3:14 a.m. Following a traffic stop, Brenan L. Mortimore was arrested for alleged driving under the influence.
10:45 p.m. Donald L. Hogset was arrested for alleged public intoxication.
The police department has also reported 39 nuisance yards over the past two weeks.

Divorces
Andrew L. Alexander vs. Rebecca Devore.
Circuit court
Maybi F. Fernandez was found guilty of four counts of possession of a controlled substance and was sentenced to one year in jail with 362 days suspension and one year supervised probation. Fees and fines are $1,020.
Ian R. Williams was found guilty of breach of peace and was sentenced to 10 days in jail with seven days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines are $655.
