Everything is right on track with the completion of the construction at Gottsche Rehabilitation and Wellness Center for March 1, 2020.
According to Gottsche director Cheryl Shero, things are going very well and the "new side" of the facility will be amazing.
The addition will include new bathrooms and reception area as well as new space for patients.
Phase I, which was the outside of the building, is completed, and the addition is known as Phase II.
Last week, Gottsche had a community BBQ to celebrate their 65 years of service to Thermopolis and Hot Springs County and Shero said they grilled over 1,000 hamburgers and hot dogs for those who came.
During the celebration, folks were wondering if they could take tours of the facility and Shero said they would be happy to show people around, but they must keep in mind things are rough and still under construction.
If you would like to take a tour you must call ahead to make arrangements at 864-2147.
