Distillery to celebrate moon landing

To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, Wyoming Whiskey has created a special release bourbon and are inviting people to come celebrate the release during a fun filled event under the night sky. The event will be on Saturday, July 20, 7-11 p.m. in the field between Wyoming Whiskey and the gift shop.

Space for the event is limited to 30 people. Tickets are $100 each for those 21 and over, and include: dinner with Mead Ranch Beef and a specialty cocktail, a full tour of the distillery and a tasting with Head Distiller Sam Mead, a presentation by Daniel Dale, professor of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Wyoming and night sky viewing with high powered telescopes.

Attendees can also purchase a ticket for $150, which will include their purchase of the corresponding numbered bottle of “Stargazer.” Ticket No. 1 give the opportunity to buy bottle No. 1 and so forth.

This bourbon will only be available for purchase at the distillery’s Whiskey Shop in Kirby.
