Rec district adult softball action

Slide One In saw a 17-8 victory over the Rated "R" Superstars at Hot Springs County Rec District's Adult Co-Ed Softball League action June 4. The same evening, Storyteller won 21-11 against One Eyed Buffalo

Standout performers in the first game were: Dan Hemann with a .750 average, three runs, five runs batted in an one home run for Rated "R" and Clemens Abbott with an .800 average, three runs and three runs batted in for Slide One In.

Second game standouts were: David Evans with an .800 average, four runs, 11 runs batted in, three home runs and a Grand Slam for Storyteller and Matt Jones with a .667 average, one run and two runs batted in for OEB.

On June 6, One Stop Repair took down Robin Batsman 22-6 and Storyteller beat Rated "R" 20-8

Standout performers in the first game were: Ryan O'Connor with a 1.000 average, three runs, five runs batted in and a home run for One Stop, and Trey Ottley with a 1.000 average, one run, three runs batted in and a home run for Robin Batsman.

Second game standouts were: David Evans with .750 average, three runs, five runs batted in and two home runs Storyteller and Josh Henry with a 1.000 average, two runs and one run batted in for Rated "R"

Games are scheduled twice weekly, Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning at 6:30 p.m., though there will be some three-game nights to make up for games cancelled due to rain. Playoffs begin July 11, with the championship July 18.
