On the Record policy

It is the Thermopolis Independent Record’s policy that all people arrested or cited under the “Accidents,” “Sheriff’s office” or “Police department” in the On the Record section are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Sheriff’s office

Thursday, June 6

3:29 p.m. Deputy explained to complainants that a matter was civil in nature and how to proceed.

6:12 p.m. Deputy responded to a property dispute.

8 p.m. REDDI report, though the driver was contacted and found to not be intoxicated. He was warned for improper lane usage.

Friday, June 7

10:44 a.m. Deputy responded to a civil issue involving yard tools.

1:42 p.m. REDDI report, though the suspect vehicle could not be located.

Police department

Tuesday, June 4

1:33 p.m. Report of juveniles removing items from dumpsters.

7:08 p.m. Report of a vehicle being driven poorly. The suspect vehicle was followed but no infractions were observed.

Wednesday, June 5

10:43 p.m. Maybi F. Fabre was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance.

Friday, June 7

9:55 p.m. A female subject was cited for possession of marijuana.

Saturday, June 8

7:41 p.m. Two subjects were cited for possession of marijuana.

Sunday, June 9

9:52 p.m. A male subject was cited for possession of marijuana.

The department also responded to 53 nuisance calls June 4-10.

Weston Burgess and Naomi Allison, both of Thermopolis.

Chalow Chuthaphech and Sudsanguan O’Donnell, both of Thermopolis.

Circuit court

Megan Raczon was bound over to district court on alleged stalking in violation of protection order or similar law, knowingly impersonating a person by electronic means or spoofing to cause harm and falsely reporting a crime.

Christopher C. Martin was bound over to district court on manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Andre V. Sharpe was found guilty of domestic battery and interfering with a peace officer, and was sentenced to one year in jail with 364 days suspension and one year supervised probation. Fees and fines are $410.
