5:06 p.m. A deputy saw a vehicle in a ditch and called for a tow.

8:24 p.m. Report of trespassing in Kirby.

12:15 p.m. Report of identity theft.

10:42 a.m. Deputy assisted Department of Family Services with a home check.

Saturday, May 25

10:02 p.m. Cassandra L. Collins was arrested for alleged driving under the influence.

12:01 p.m. Complainant called to report a fraud.

Tuesday, May 21

10:35 a.m. A motel owner wanted a room checked for possible illegal activity. There was no such activity found by the officer.

5:39 p.m. Complaint of subjects drinking in a parking lot. The subjects were contacted and were not drinking.

Wednesday, May 22

5:11 a.m. Joshua A. Marez was arrested for alleged driving under the influence, speeding and driving under suspension.

9:40 a.m. Reported traffic offense, though the suspect vehicle could not be located.

9:50 a.m. Report of a boulder in the canyon. The call was transferred to Highway Patrol.

Thursday, May 23

2:26 a.m. Report of older juveniles out in the rain. They were spoken to, and no suspicious activity was reported.

10:43 a.m. A female subject was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

12:23 p.m. A motel owner was looking for a guest who had a room key after he checked out. The subject was located and said he had turned the key in to the office.

3:44 p.m. Complaint of a vehicle parked on property. The owner was contacted and the vehicle was moved.

Friday, May 24

3:32 a.m. Report of a female subject looking into the windows of businesses.

12:49 p.m. REDDI report, though the suspect vehicle was located and followed, and no infractions were observed.

3:47 p.m. Report of money taken from a drop box.

9:31 p.m. Shannyn L. Lockwood was arrested for alleged reckless driving, speeding and open container.

10:07 p.m. Reported fireworks. The subjects setting them off were heavily warned that another incident would result in citations.

10:45 p.m. Report of a family fight, though it was only verbal in nature.

Saturday, May 25

12:44 p.m.. REDDI report, though the suspect vehicle was located and followed, and no infractions were observed.

2:48 p.m. Complaint of a vehicle parked in a driveway. The owner had come to watch family play in the 3-on-3 tournament.

6:41 p.m. Officer requested to locate a subject, who was later found at home.

7:09 p.m. Report of a small, unattended child on the Swinging Bridge. The child was collected by his mother.

Sunday, May 26

3:29 p.m. Complaint of multiple people parking on complainant’s property. The owners were contacted and the vehicles were moved.

Monday, May 27

11:54 a.m. Reported traffic offense, though the suspect vehicle could not later be located.

3:03 p.m. Complaint regarding a purchase. The call was transferred to Fremont County.

6 p.m. Complaint about a hotel owner asking too many personal questions.

7:57 p.m. A driver was stopped as he had purchased a vehicle but still kept the old plates. He was informed he had to get the vehicle registered in his name.

Circuit court

Kino R. Beman was found guilty of unlawful contact, rude, insolent or angry touches without bodily injury, shoplifting under $1,000 and interference with a peace officer, and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with 87 days suspension and six months unsupervised probation. Fees and fines total $905.

Thaddeus Rex Mills was born Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital to Leishalyn and Coulter Mills.

He weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces and was 17.5 inches long.

Grandparents are Butch and Tina Rich and Terril and Becky Mills.
