Dance recital set for Friday

Hot Springs Dance LLC will present it show, Once Upon a Time, on Friday, May 31 at the Hot Springs County High School Auditorium. The show will explore 18 different stories including Red Riding Hood, Cinderella, and Jack and the Beanstalk, through about 130 dancers performing ballet, contemporary, tap and hip-hop.

Tess Williams said the dancers have been practicing for four months and are well prepared to bring the show to the stage. She added this is their third spring show and one of the best they’ve done.

The doors will open at 5:20 p.m. and the show will get underway at 6 p.m. Entrance is by donation, but there will also be roses for sale, for the dancers, in the lobby.
