The sixth annual Thermopolis Brewfest, sponsored by Main Street Thermopolis, takes place in downtown on Saturday, June 1 from 3-7 p.m. The Brewfest features Wyoming craft beers, live music and a dance performance, food and merchandise vendors, a corn hole tournament, a tour of buildings in the downtown historic district, and kid-friendly activities.
“The Thermopolis Brewfest, in downtown, will showcase craft beers along with local food and a fabulous music line-up, ” according to Suzanne Samelson, the Main Street president. “This early June event celebrates the community spirit and downtown vitality of Thermopolis and the arrival of more spring-like weather. The Brewfest is family friendly and has something for everyone to enjoy.”
Wyoming artisan brews will be on hand from Black Tooth Brewing - Taproom, Cowboy State Brewing, Square State Brewing, Grand Teton Brewing Company, Roadhouse Brewing Company, Teton Distributors, and Wind River Brewing Company with new pours, old favorites, and some surprises. One Eyed Buffalo Brewing Company and Wyoming Whiskey will be a part of the festival too. Non-alcoholic beverages will be available at the event.
There will also be live music, with: Tanner Harmon from Lehi, Utah; Jeff Troxel from Cody; and the band Arterial Drive, from Billings.
There will be several food and merchandise vendors, and the cornhole tournament will be open to children as well as adults this year. Hot Springs Dance, LLC will present a dance performance, and the Smoking Waters Art Guild will have a booth featuring watercolors and pastels. The popular color-on mural, provided by the Greater Learning Foundation, will be set up and there will be a bouncy house too. The historic buildings tour, led by our own Ray Shaffer, will offer an insider’s tales of some of Thermopolis’s downtown treasures.
