Chicken butchering workshop May 7

The public is invited to learn how to prepare a chicken at the Hot Springs County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, May 7.

The University of Wyoming Hot Springs County Extension Office will present a chicken butchering workshop, beginning at 6 p.m., for people to learn safe, humane, clean and quiet methods for butchering chickens.

Keep in mind this will be a live demonstration. A total eight birds are planned for the workshop, with instructors providing a couple demonstrations before giving attendees an opportunity for some hands-on learning.
