Boysen Marina set to open for the season

Boysen Marina will be opening its doors this week according owners Rich and Georgia Epperson.

For now, they’ll be open Wednesday through Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sundays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

Their plan is to have the restaurant open on May 23, so the hours for closing will change, but the couple hasn’t determined a specific closing time for the restaurant.

They will serve dinner Thursday through Saturday and lunch on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Offerings in the bar will include wine by the bottle or glass and adult slushies like Margaritas, Pina Coladas and Strawberry Dacquiris as well as beer and malt beverages.

The boat shop is open now and taking in boats for repair.

The pair are planning a fireworks display for the 4th of July with the possibility of having live music, but said that is still in the planning stages.

Also available at the marina are name brand bathing suits, shorts, cover ups and sandals as well as skis, wake boards, knee boards and tubes in all shapes and sizes. Minnows and worms are now available year round and of course, they’ll have lots of ice cream.
