Soul Street Dance to hit the stage

Thermopolis is in for a treat next week as the Houston based dance group, Soul Street Dance, hits the boards in the auditorium on Thursday, April 25 for an amazing night of technical and artistic skill combined with a dollop of humor sure to be a fun night for the whole family.

Not only are they dancers, Soul Street members are also actors, athletes and songwriters as well as musicians.

Formerly “at risk” youth, the group has found focus through dance and are now working professionals.

They have recently completed two tours of the European Eastern Bloc and have toured abroad under the auspices of the Arts Envoys touring program for the State Department’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

Their huge repertoire and outstanding flexibility have earned them the title, “Rock Stars of the Educational Theatre World” and they’ll be bringing all that talent right here to Thermopolis, bustin’ moves from over the decades with choreography to music from Vivaldi to Michael Jackson.

Admission to the public performance is free, but donations are appreciated.

The performance begins at 7 p.m. and is sponsored by the Hot Springs County School District.
