RMEF banquet set for April 6

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation (RMEF) is planning their annual banquet to be held on April 6 at the fairgrounds.

Jill Tonn, one of the RMEF organizers sai the doors will open at 5 p.m. with games and raffles as well as a silent auction.

Dinner will be served around 6:30 p.m. followed by a live auction that should start around 7:30 p.m.

The auctioneer for this spring’s event will be Wyoming State Auctioneering Champion of 2017, Veldon Kraft.

The group will be honoring two of their strongest supporters, the late Danny Love, with a memorial raffle of a pistol and a Kimber rifle. The other honoree is the late Joe Kordonowy whom this year’s banquet rifle will be in memory of.

Tickets are $70 for a single, which includes prime rib dinner and membership to RMEF. Couples will be $105, which also includes two dinners and a membership as well. Contact Dan Webber at 307-899-2283 for tickets.
