Robotics reaches season end

This past weekend, Robotics Team No. 4273, Aluminati, travelled to compete at the Utah State Championship. Coach London Jenks said the team did very well.

“They were in the top five for most of the day and held the first place position multiple times,” Jenks said. “Their record was 4-1 and they had a very close match in the single match that they lost. They ended qualifying rounds in fifth place and were selected by the fourth place alliance to participate in the finals. They ended the day in fourth place with their alliance.

“This is most likely the end of their season for the year. There is a slight chance they could be one of 12 teams who receive a lottery ticket to the World Championship. They will hear about that in March, most likely. Overall they had an excellent season.”
