Teams taking the lead in adult basketball

The leaders of the Hot Springs County Recreation District's Adult Basketball League are starting to emerge, with Red Rock and their 2-0 record at the top following a 46-38 victory against Merit Energy on Wednesday, Jan. 30. The loss puts Merit at 1-1 for the season.

Two Hills of a Cizzle is close behind at 2-1, with both wins coming on Jan. 30 - 49-43 over Properties West and 63-39 over Hot Parts. The games put Properties at 1-2, and Hot Parts at 0-2.

Games on Feb. 6 will include Merit against Hot Parts, Properties against Merit and Two Hills against Red Rock. Games are every Wednesday, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Thermopolis Middle School, and the public is invited to come out and cheer on their favorites.

The regular season will end March 13, with playoffs March 20 and April 3, and the championship April 10.
