Thermopolis Wrestling Club grapplers compete at Buffalo

The Thermopolis Wrestling Club participated in the Buffalo Outlaw Wrestling Tournament on Jan. 27.

In 6U of PeeWee) 32-34, Fletcher Lewis placed first and scored 19 team points.

In Round 1 Lewis won by a 40-second fall over Lauryn Gross of Touch of Gold Wrestling Club in Round 1, won by an 18-10 major decision over Greysen Seim of Douglas Wrestling Club in Round 2 and won by a 42-second fall over Thayne Harden of Casper Wrestling Club in Round 3.

In 6U of PeeWee) 36-37, Aksel Polson placed third and scored nine team points.

Polson won by a 29-sec ond fall over Joseph Dice of Casper Wrestling Club in Round 1, lost by an 8-6 decision to Ryder Gray of Moorcroft Mat Masters in Round 2 and lost by a 10-0 major decision to Hudson Garland of Camel Kids Wrestling in Round 3.

In 6U of PeeWee) 38-39, Sawyer Wilson placed third and scored nine team points.

In Round 1 – Wilson lost by a 12-0 major decision to Cormick Fischer of Eastside United Wrestling in Round 1, lost by a 9-5 decision to Sheldon Ellwood of the Wright Gladiators in Round 2 and won by a 14-second fall over Landon Bujarski of Camel Kids Wrestling.

In 6U of PeeWee) 40-41, Lucas Seidel placed fourth and scored four team points.

Seidel lost by an 11-0 major decision to Brody Baxter of Eastside United Wrestling in Round 1, by a 1:30 fall to Daven Eixenberger of Touch of Gold Wrestling Club in Round 2, and by a 59-second fall to Dracen Pollock of Natrona Colts Wrestling Club in Round 3.

In 6U of PeeWee) 42-44, Tucker Sayler placed first and scored 20 team points.

Sayler won by a 2:44 fall over Cal Stephens of Glenrock Wrestling Club in Round 1, by a 1:40 fall over Craig Heimer of Touch of Gold Wrestling Club in Round 2 and by a 48-second fall over Alexander Winkler of Camel Kids Wrestling in Round 3.
