Carol Anne Ferree

Carole Anne Ferree, 74, passed away at her home in Thermopolis, Wyo., on December 25, 2018, surrounded by her family. 

Carole was born on February 12, 1944, in Wheatland, Wyo., daughter of Henry “Hank” J. and Edith M. (Hill) Kuiper. She and her family moved to Thermopolis when Carole was in the 1st grade and she never wanted to leave.

On July 7, 1962, Carole married Raymond “Ray” E. Ferree at St. Francis Catholic Church in Thermopolis, Wyo. Mrs. Ferree was a baptized member of the Catholic Church, serving as a CCD teacher and CCW.

Carole worked various medical jobs, employed at the hospital, WPH and doctors offices. She was continually training for new skills.

 She enjoyed sewing of all kinds for her grandchildren, her friends and herself. She went on to make two full sized tipi and made all rendezvous clothes for her sons and Ray. She also had a passion for oil painting and cooking and especially loved spending time with her family and friends. 

She is survived by her husband, Ray, of 56 years; sons, Charles (Kari) Ferree and Russell (Michelle) Ferree; brother, Jack (Cheryl) Kuiper; 6 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation has taken place. No services are scheduled.
