On the Record policy
It is the Thermopolis Independent Record’s policy that all people arrested or cited under the “Accidents,” “Sheriff’s office” or “Police department” in the On the Record section are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday, Dec. 11
4:02 p.m. Assistance provided to Wyoming Highway Patrol regarding a subject cited for a hit and run accident, who may be connected to another incident.
3:46 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle parked on Broadway.
Thursday, Dec. 13
7:15 p.m. Andrew B. Meador was arrested for alleged trespassing following a traffic stop.
8:37 p.m. A subject was cited for possession of methamphetamine.
Friday, Dec. 14
3:45 p.m. Assistance provided to Department of Family Services for a welfare check on an elderly subject, who was found to be OK.

Tuesday, Dec. 11
1:35 p.m. Report of a suspicious subject dragging a suitcase. The subject could not be located.
2:24 p.m. The driver of a vehicle was stopped for having no visible registration. However, the driver was able to produce a bill of sale.

12:39 p.m. Report of found keys on a lanyard.
2:04 p.m. Reported burglary at a storage unit.
3:38 p.m. Complainant reported a hit and run accident.

11:34 p.m. Report of a scam call in which the caller was making threatening comments.
Friday, Dec. 14
9:01 a.m. Report of possible burglary, later determined to be unfounded.
Saturday, Dec. 15
9:55 a.m. Officer responded to a dispute between citizens and the parties were separated.
12:42 p.m. Report of a vehicle stuck in the car wash.
12:50 p.m. Complainant suspected theft of fuel from a gas tank.
Sunday, Dec. 16
11:48 a.m. Complainant reported someone had keyed his car.
2:55 p.m. Reported theft of some mostly full five-gallon paint buckets.
