The open enrollment period for health care coverage is currently underway through healthcare.gov.
The enrollment end date is Saturday, Dec. 15, and if you don’t have your coverage chosen by that time, you may not be able to get government sponsored healthcare for the coming year.
Residents of Wyoming sometimes have a difficult time getting coverage at a reasonable rate for a number of reasons, however, through the Health Insurance Marketplace, various plans are available for little to no cost.
Some may qualify for an insurance plan with tax credits or for CHIP, which covers children’s healthcare.
All you need to do is fill out forms at healthcare.gov to get started.
