Celebration of Creches

The true meaning of Christmas isn’t the beautifully wrapped presents under the tree, but rather the baby Jesus lying in the manger.

On Dec. 1 and 2, you can celebrate the birth of Christ with the 2nd Annual Celebration of the Creches at the Community Hall behind the Community Church on 6th Street.

There will be over 500 creches on display, many from all corners of the world.

They’re made from everything imaginable, from wood to glass, paper, stone, ceramics and even fabric.

You may view the creches from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1 and from 11:30 a.m. til 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2.

The event is free and refreshments will be served.
