Education Endowment requests accepted

The Hot Springs County Education Endowment Foundation is accepting community funding requests for 2019. Those with educational projects or needs are requested to submit their applications before Dec. 30.

The endowment has helped fund projects such as the Imagination Library through the Children’s Resource Center, the Yellowstone trip for elementary students, the living wax museum at Thermopolis Middle School and the TMS Water for South Sudan project, among several others.

Following the December deadline requests, a committee will meet in January to determine where funds will go. Requests can be made online at hotspringsendowment.org by clicking on “Community Request for Funds.”

Hot Springs County Education Endowment Foundation is an IRS qualified 501[c][iii] non-profit organization which manages a perpetual fund that was established in 1990. It is managed by a board of directors selected from the community and Hot Springs County School District. Scholarships and awards are given each year based upon available interest and dividends from investments and savings.
