Gun club hosts turkey shoot Sunday

The Thermopolis Gun Club will host a turkey shoot at the Bob Milek Memorial Range on Sunday, Nov. 11 from 1-3 p.m.

Categories for the shoot include Centerfire Pistol or Rifle and Rimfire Pistol or Rifle, and one turkey will be awarded for the shooter with the best score in each category.

There is a $5 entry per squad position, and shooters will have five shots at a face down nine card target.

The best hand wins, providing for a competition that combines skill with chance.

There will be a shoot off if a tie occurs.
