First responders providing treats

The second annual First Responders Trunk or Treat will be Halloween night from 6-8 p.m. between the fire hall and Hot Springs County Search and Rescue on 14th Street.

The public is invited to come out and visit with first responders while checking out the vehicle decorations and grabbing a few treats.

Hot Springs County Search and Rescue is also hosting their second annual chili cook off and open house on Saturday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m., at the Search and Rescue garage on 14th Street. The cook off is open to anyone interested in cooking, and $4 buys a tasting bowl to try all the chili.
