Coed adult volleyball enters playoffs

Beginning Oct. 17, the Hot Springs County Recreation District’s Adult Coed Volleyball League is officially into its playoff season.

Games on Wednesday, Oct. 10 saw victories for TBD against Setting Ducks, 25-19, 25-13 and 2517. Benny and the Sets won their first game against How I Set your Mother 25-18, and though they lost the second match to How I Set 25-21, Benny game back to win the third game 25-20.

Owl Creek Graphics won 25-20, 25-23 and 25-20 against Benny, and in the matchup between Gassed by Gottsche and Here 4 Exercise, Gassed won the first two games 25-14 and 25 15, though Here 4 Exercise won the third 25-19.

The league will have three weeks of playoffs, with the Wednesday, Oct. 17 games including Benny vs. How I Set, TBD vs. Setting Ducks, Owl Creek vs. Here 4 Exercise and Gassed taking on the winner of the match between Benny and How I Set. Current standings are: Gassed 15-3, Owl Creek 14-4, TBD 12-6, Benny 8-10, How I Set 6-12, Setting Ducks 6-12 and Here 4 Exercise 2-16.
