Christina Porath of Thermopolis has been invited to attend the Keith and Thyra Thomson Honors Convocation at the University of Wyoming on Friday, Oct. 19. Porath was selected to earning academic excellence during the academic year 2017-18. The daughter of Daniel and Leila Porath, Christina is a 2014 graduate of Hot Springs County High School and is currently in her senior year at UW pursuing a triple major in Criminal Justice, Psychology and Pre-Law.

Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital staff members Tara Henrie, Gina Cuprak, Trudy Craft, Jeremiah Cannon, Michelle Smith, Chris Bentley, Jeri Steward and Nina Landis completed the Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Program. The program was supported by the American Heart Association of Colorado and Wyoming.

Hospital employees Kathy Burleson, Bree Christiansen, Bridget Truempler, Dawn DuBeau and Lindsay Simpson recently completed the Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Course. The purpose of the program is to improve knowledge, interpretation and skills in fetal heart monitoring.
