Adult volleyball enters fifth week

Teams in the Hot Springs County Recreation District's Adult Co-ed Volleyball League finished their fourth week of games last week, with Gassed by Gottsche winning 27-25, 25-21 and 25-16 against TBD.

Here 4 Exercise won their first game against How I Set Your Mother 25-16, but lost the remaining two 25-12 and 25-23.

Here 4 Exercise was also bested by Owl Creek Graphics, 25-21, 25-13 and 25-23. In the final matchup, Setting Ducks won against Benny and the Sets by forfeit.

The program is in Week 5, with matches for Wednesday, Oct. 10 including TBD vs. Setting Ducks, How I Set vs. Benny, Owl Creek vs. Setting Ducks, TBD vs. Benny and Here 4 Exercise vs. Gassed. Games begin at 6:30 p.m. at the high school.

With the fourth week in the bag, standings are: Gassed 13-2, Owl Creek 11-4, Benny 6-6, TBD 6-6, Setting Ducks 6-6, How I Set 5-10 and Here 4 Exercise 1-14. Playoff action begins on Wednesday, Oct. 17.
