Harvest Moon Ball Saturday

Hot Springs County’s FFA Alumni will be hosting the eighth annual Harvest Moon Ball this Saturday, Sept. 29. Everyone is welcome, it is open to the public.

The evening begins at 6 p.m. at the fair building with dinner provided by Chubby Cheeks, featuring beef brisket and pork loin dinner with salads, dessert and drinks. A cash bar service will be available by Shorty’s Liquor.

Every year, the Alumni recognize people and businesses that have made contributions, not only monetarily, but of their time to help the AG community and the young people of the area.

They will be honoring Thermopolis Hardware/Dennis and Karen Sinclair and the Glade Edwards Foundation for their continued support of Thermopolis and the AG community.

In addition, AG Citizens Verne Lofink and Jim Dowdy will be honorees for their many contributions and support of the AG community and dedication to the youth of Hot Springs County.

Stick around after the awards for the dance with live music from the Sundowners.

Tickets for the event will only be available at the door. Individuals are $15, couples, $28, kids 4-12 are $10 and those three and under are free.

Proceeds benefit the local FFA Chapter for graduating seniors and continuing education scholarships, leadership camp registration and additional travel expenses not covered by the school.
