Agnes Joe Park

Agnes Joe Park, 82, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2018, at her home.

She was born May 5, 1936, to William and Marie (Shriver) Urist in Mammoth, N.D. She married Marvin L. Park on Oct. 20, 1956, In Phillipsburg. She grew up in Thermopolis, Wyo., where she gradated high school in 1954.

She enjoyed crocheting, playing her accordion and piano, baking pies and enjoying her grandchildren and dogs. She also loved going to the mountains in Wyoming for vacations. She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Liberal for more than 50 years.

Agnes is survived by her husband; son, Dennis (Paula) Park of Liberal; daughters, Debbie (Danny) Cypret of Lubbock, Texas and Dee Dee Jones of Merriam; sisters, Sandra Brown of Worland, Wyo., Patty Lebolo of Casper, Wyo., and Patsy Dorman of Thermopolis, Wyo.; grandsons, Brett (Charlee) Cypret and Jordan (Laurie) Cypret, all of Lubbock, Texas; granddaughter, Kayla (CJ) Johnson of Quinter; great-grandsons, Kyler Johnson, Kahne Johnson, Vincent Cypret and Harley Cypret; and great-granddaughter, Kendyl Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Urist, Jr., and Ellis Thomas Urist.
