North Forty Ranch takes home first at Ranch Rodeo

Six ranches participated in this year's Lions Club Ranch Rodeo, with it's non-traditional rodeo events such as doctoring, ribbon roping and a wild cow ride.

The North Forty Ranch team came out in first place. Team members were Layne Myers, Rob Buckner, Hannah Calkins, Will Farrell and businessman Ro Dominguez.

Coming in second was the Cross T Ranch with team members Koy Myers, Eric Calkins, Caleb Hilliker, Tyelynn Jensen and businesswoman Sadie Eckley.

Outlaw Crew took third place. Team members were Ben Hatch, Conner Hatch, Tucker Hatch, Jasper Hatch and businessman Joe Martinez.

Results from each event, in order of placing, are as follows:

Cow Milking

Cross T Ranch, 1:10.91; Outlaw Crew, 1:14.87; High Mountain Ranch, 1:15.05; North Forty, 1:35.11; Lungren Land & Cattle, 1:45.95; Shumway Ranch, 3:17.98

Team Doctoring

Ribbon Roping

Top Cow Horse of the rodeo was "Buck," owned by Eric Calkins. Top Cowhand was Connor Hatch, and the Hard Luck award went to Ben Hatch.
