Absentee voting available

The political season in Wyoming is heating up with just a little under three weeks until the Primary Election, August 21.

If you have discovered you aren’t going to be in town for the primary, your vote can still count if you do absentee early voting.

You will need to contact the County Clerk’s office at 864-3515 to get the absentee ballot mailed to you, or you can stop in the clerk’s office and vote immediately. If you have the ballot mailed to you, it must be back in the clerk’s office by August 21.

According to County Clerk, Nina Webber, they have mailed out 128 absentee ballots for the primary and have received more than half, 82, back in the office.
