The Gift of the Waters Parade will be on Saturday, Aug. 4, starting at 10 a.m.

The traditional parade route will be followed, from Arapahoe to Fifth Street, then west on Broadway before turning to finish up coming down Broadway toward the east.

As always there will be Native American dancers at the flagpole once the parade is complete.

There will be an overall winner of the parade who will receive a $300 prize.

In addition, there will be a $100 prize for best business/organization, $100 for best automobile/individual and $100 for kids up to 12-years old and another for kids 13-18-years old.

There is no fee to enter a float in the parade, but you need to stop by the Chamber of Commerce to pick up an entry form for the parade.

Entries are due by Tuesday, July 31.
