Softball teams continue winning streak

The Team We Like The Most (TTWLTM) and One Stop Repair remained at the top of the list for the Hot Springs County Recreation District’s Adult Softball League, as of last week’s games.

On June 19, One Stop had a 21-5 win over Scrub Tops. Standout performers were Ryan O’Connor with a .800 average, three runs and three RBIs for One Stop, and Erik Fladmo with a 1.000 average, two home runs, two runs and three RBIs for Scrub Tops.

TTWLTM won 20-9 against Risen Son. Standout performers were David Evans with a 1.000 average, a home run, four runs and four RBIs for TTWLTM, and Clemens Abbot with a 1.000 average and two runs for Risen Son.

On June 22, One Eyed Buffalo won against Paintbrush Dental, 18-1. Standout performers were Jerry Kiser with a 1.000 average, three runs and four RBIs for OEB, and Jill Strenger with a .500 average and one run for Paintbrush.

Slide One In had an 18-12 victory over Risen Son. Standout performers were Bryan Griffin with a 1.000 average, three runs and three RBIs for Slide One In, and Bryce Harvey with a 1.000 average, four runs and one RBI for Risen Son.

Standings as of Tuesday were: TTWLTM 5-0, One Stop Repair 5-0, Risen Son 3-3, Slide One In 3-4, One Eyed Buffalo 2-3, Paintbrush Dental 2-4, Scrub Tops 1-3 and Robin Batsman 1-5.

This week will be the final for the regular season, with rain out/make up games played on June 28. Single elimination playoffs will be July 10, 12, 17 and 19.
