The Hot Springs State Park pavilion will be home to several concerts over the next few months for this year’s Sounds of Summer.
The series kicks off with Aaron Davis & The Mystery Machine. This four-piece band will be playing Americana, Country-Blues and Rock & Roll. According to a biography about the band, Davis is a Kentukcy native and has been based around Jackson Hole since 2001. He is a “vocalist, multi-instrumentalist, studio engineer/producer, and co-founder of decade-long Americana touring band Screen Door Porch.”
As for the rest of the band, “What started as a casual, mostly acoustic project in 2013 has evolved into a multi-headed beast of a Mystery Machine in 2018. Across friendships, stage time and recording projects from his own Three Hearted Studio in Hoback, Davis has worked with over a dozen folks from Teton County to be involved in what has become a revolving door of all-star musicians.
“There are certainties and there are conundrums. The Mystery Machine hovers like a pendulum, gravitating from the worn path and aiming towards the genuine. Enter the Machine and buckle up.”
Aaron Davis & The Mystery Machine will hit the pavilion stage at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 10.
