TMS fifth, sixth graders receive awards

Friday at Thermopolis Middle School, sixth and fifth grade students were recognized for their accomplishments throughout the year. These awards include one from each core in the subjects of Math, Reading, Writing, Science and Social Studies, as well as top students in other classes, winners of the Jessie Thompson Writing Contest and awards for citizenship, attendance and straight A's all four quarters.

6th grade awards:

Jessie Thompson Writing Contest winners - first Porter McCumber, second Stevie Brown and third Claire Simpson

Math - Avery Moon, Daniel Blair and Jessen Basse; Most Growth Math MAP - Aiden Cox; Overall Top Math MAP score - Elizabeth Peterson
