The Wyoming Highway Patrol has released the names of those involved in a fatality crash near milepost 26 on Highway 120 on Tuesday, May 8. According to the report, the victims in the incident are 18-year-old Kolten S. Moss of Laramie, and 75-year-old Ib R. Jensen and 72-year-old Elsebeth F. Jensen of Cannes, France.
The report further indicates Moss was driving a 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 ST SL pickup southbound on Highway 120 when the truck crossed the center line and the northbound lane where it exited the roadway. The driver over corrected the Dodge back towards the roadway and into oncoming traffic. A 2019 Winnebago Outlook E450 in which the Jensens were traveling was northbound when the truck entered into its path of travel. Both vehicles collided in a head-on collision which resulted in both vehicles becoming full engulfed in fire upon impact. Nobody was ejected from either vehicle.
Witnesses stated the Dodge had been swerving before the collision and alcoholic beverage containers were located at the scene. Suspected alcohol use, fatigue or distracted driving Moss appear to have been contributing factors but it is impossible to confirm.
