Democratic convention

Hot Springs County's Democtatic Party held their local convention last weekend, hearing from a few of the democratic candidates, choosing their state representatives and adopting a two-year platform for the party.

The local democrats were joined by Jeff Dockter who is running for the State Auditor position, Mary Throne, candidate for Wyoming State Governor and Travis Helm, the only democrat challenging incumbent Liz Cheney for her House seat.

In addition, Dean Ferguson, director of the party for Wyoming was in attendance.

The group voted to send Howie Samelson, Levi Shinkle and a third, yet unnamed delegate to the State Democratic Convention as well as adopting their platform for the next two years.
