Adult softball begins

Now that the Hot Springs County Rec District’s Adult Co-ed Basketball League has wrapped up, it’s time to hit the grass for the rec district’s summer softball competition.

This year there are eight teams competing, including One Eyed Buffalo, Risen Son, Paintbrush Dental, Scrub Tops, Robin Batsman, The Team That We Like Most, Slide One In and One Stop Repair.

Games will start on Thursday, May 10, with One Eyed facing Risen Son at 6:30 p.m. and Paintbrush Dental against the Scrub Tops at 7:45 p.m. Games will continue on Tuesday and Thursday evenings through June 28, with playoffs starting July 10 and the championship on July 19.

Everyone is encouraged to come out to Whitt Field to cheer on their favorite teams and players.
