High school students have an opportunity to test their fishing skills on Friday, April 20 during the second annual Thermopolis High School Fishing Tournament.
There will be a tournament meeting at 12:25 p.m. in the high school parking lot, with the tournament itself beginning at 12:30 p.m. Teams must be back in the high school parking lot by 6 p.m. for their fish to count.
As to any limitations as to where students can fish, Coach Matthew McPhie stated, “If they can get there, they can fish it.”
Teams are made up of two to three individuals, and registration is $10 per team in advance or $15 at the door. Prizes include cash and donated items from local outdoor stores.
